Eliana Zimmerman

Montreal-based cellist Eliana Zimmerman is active both in the world of early music on period instruments and in Montreal's improvised and indie music scenes. Hailing from New York, she received degrees in modern and baroque cello from McGill University and has toured across Canada, the US, France and China. She performs with l'Harmonie des saisons, Ensemble Caprice and the Studio de musique ancienne de Montréal as well as with her ensemble Triggerfish, Thanya Iyer, Eve Parker Finley, and Ivy Boxall. Having devoted part of her career to arts administration for nearly 10 years, Eliana is currently the Director of Operations for Arion Baroque Orchestra.
